Collaboration YUME YUME x Studio Thier & van Daalen
Iris van Daalen & Ruben Thier share their fascination for reflection of (sun) light, color transitions and materials.
They see it as a calling to get the most out of a material and set up a circular system for their used materials. The studio searches for the possible shapes and deformations. Tension and shape of the material is key and convert this into a new product range.
Together with YUME YUME they designed 45 artwork shelves. The limited artwork shelves are numbered from 1 to 45. The Plastic mine shelves are made of the plastic factory’s overproduction, which gives them unique colors that are also used for the slides in this collaboration.
